MISSION

NeXt Nation is a term that denotes succession. The show highlights the NeXt Nation of burgeoning thought leaders, social business disrupters, tastemakers and issues affecting our community in our 3 focus areas and the show’s guiding principle:

lifestyle | legacy | leadership

This three pronged approach allows us to broach topics across a myriad of platforms that utilize my intersectional professional experience and leverage my contacts in business, entertainment, risk management, finance, family, travel and social know-how. We consult with experts in additional disciplines as needed for contextual subjective reference. The goal is to improve the way the listener sees themselves and encourage an amalgam of new aspirations, motivations, needs and wants that is influenced by culture, family, education, business, reference groups, and social class that will help us to uncover a next nation of leadership and providing value to our listeners lives.

METHOD

We address work, business, social and financial topics through fine-tuned social discussions in a fun, informative and qualitative way that encourages and improves the listenership’s career objectives, activities and attitudes and foster new interests, ideas and values. We encourage our listenership through dialogue to begin to create more opportunities for themselves that hopefully allow them to cast wider nets in their personal, social and professional lives.

This isn’t a breaking news or a political show; rather a concept show for people generally in the accumulation phase of their careers (30-55) with a penchant for imagining bigger. The show provide them with qualitative solutions and resources, creative topics and reference points that give them new methods that not only provide great content but allows our listener to curate a new reality.

RESULTS

Three years as co-host, associate producer and contributing resource on the Karen Hunter Show brand on Sirius XM Urban View Channel 126. I have seen the incredible benefit of transformed lives, including my own. I’ve expanded my business footprint and also created an additional client base through my work on the network. I’ve helped listeners uncover opportunity and this has been a true value to my listenership and clients. The show affords me a national platform to reach more people and has ultimately expanded my career. I am lending my voice and expertise to wealth and legacy discussions, business leadership, entertainment, travel and lifestyle discussions for many people who haven’t yet tapped into the aforementioned. By doing so, I am often told by listeners how much value I provide to their lives.

The intent of NeXt Nation is to develop those opportunities further and hopefully solidify our show as not only a foundational resource but also as a safe space after a long week, to laugh, learn and unwind. Heard Sundays @ Noon on Channel 126 Sirius XM Urban View.
